A atuação internacional do SNA abrange fundamental participação em organizações internacionais interestatais e organizações internacionais não-governamentais relacionadas ao setor de aviação civil. As decisões e estratégias advindas destes organismos impactam diretamente e indiretamente na vida dos aeronautas brasileiros, razão pela qual é de extrema importância nossa atuação, com vistas à proteção de direitos trabalhistas e sociais, garantia do emprego, regulação da profissão, questões de segurança de voo e expansão de oportunidades profissionais.
Em nossa estratégia de atuação global, acompanhamos as negociações dos Estados no âmbito da ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), agência especializada da Organização das Nações Unidas para a aviação civil, inclusive participando das Delegações da IFALPA e ITF em reuniões e painéis deste organismo. No âmbito regional, atuamos junto à Comissão Latino Americana de Aviação Civil (CLAC).
Além disso, o SNA opera constantemente junto à IFALPA (Federação Internacional das Associações de Pilotos de Linha Aérea), que reúne mais de 100 mil pilotos e engenheiros de voo em quase 100 países em todo o mundo; atua junto à ITF (Federação Internacional de Sindicatos de Transportes), que reúne em torno de 700 sindicatos, representando mais de 16 milhões de trabalhadores de 150 países; e a Fespla (Federação de Sindicatos de Pilotos da América Latina), que reúne os sindicatos de pilotos da região e visa unir forças para a defesa dos direitos a nível regional.
The international performance of SNA covers fundamental participation in inter-state international organizations and international non-governmental organizations related to the civil aviation industry. The decisions and strategies resulting from these organizations have a direct and indirect impact on the lives of Brazilian pilots and cabin crew members, which is why our actions are extremely important, with the aim of protecting rights, ensuring employment and expanding professional opportunities.
In our global strategy, we follow the negotiations of the States within ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), a United Nations specialized agency, including participating in IFALPA and ITF Delegations in meetings and panels of these organizations. At the regional level, we work with the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (CLAC).
In addition, SNA is constantly operating with international non-governmental organizations, being a member of IFALPA (International Federation of Airline Pilots’ Associations), which represents over 100,000 pilots and flight engineers in over 100 countries world-wide; work with the (International Federation of Transport Workers’ Unions), which brings together approximately 700 trade unions, representing more than 16 million workers from 150 countries; and Fespla (Federation of Latin American Pilot Unions), which brings together the regional pilots’ unions and aims to unite forces for the defense of rights at regional level.
